On May 15, 2009, Kansas.gov launched KanSite, its new Content Management System (CMS). KanSite is specifically designed for state and municipal governments to enhance their online presence and provide effective online services to citizens. This content management system allows state agencies, cities and counties to create and maintain a Web site without the knowledge of programming languages, is easy-to-use and is available 24/7. On August 3, 2009, Kansas Mentors launched their newly re-designed Web site, KansasMentors.org. This site was built and is maintained in the KanSite Content Management System. The Kansas Mentors Web site connects Kansans to more than 175 mentoring programs across the state.
